Reopening Update!

Dear UMA Members,

  We are grateful for all of the support and feedback we have continued to receive from many of you! We cannot stress how important your safety and that of our staff means to us. So after carefully giving the matter much thought, we have decided to delay our reopening to Wednesday, July 29th because of the rapid rise of cases in surrounding states.

As stated in our last message, virtual taekwondo classes are on pause THIS week. But our NEW Taekwondo Virtual Training now with Master Alfred Paloma will continue to become effective July 7th! Because this new virtual training schedule is designed to accompany our new in-center training schedule some updates have been made to ensure classes will be more beneficial for our students! (The New Taekwondo Virtual Training schedule can be found at the end of the email.)

In regards to our in-center training schedule, we will be making slight timing adjustments to allow for sanitization of training equipment and for students of a previous class to leave the center completely using a designated exit before the next group of students enter. All of our in-center classes have limited spaces in order to enforce social distancing within our studios. Therefore, reservations for classes will be taken on a first come, first serve basis. Starting on July 29th, our telephone services will resume and students will be able to reserve spots 1 hour in advance to their designated class times. Classes can only be reserved the day of but we will do our best to accommodate students per circumstance. We ask students to arrive NO MORE than 5 minutes prior to the start of their classes and wait on designated markers outside of the gym spaced 6 feet apart. Everyone entering will have their temperature taken with a sanitized non-contact thermometer, and if symptomatic, will be asked to return home. In order to avoid congregation within the center, parents and guardians are to drop off their children during the beginning of class and wait outside the building until pick up. If you wish to speak to management we encourage you to continue doing so via email. But in the process of business transactions, renewals/sign-ups, testing registrations, or merchandise purchases make an appointment with us in advance to speak with and assist you in person.  Our in-center training schedule will be made available to you via email and on our website’s announcement page in the following days.
