Dear UMA Members, We want to thank you for the support and feedback we have received over the following days regarding our plans of reopening! Because the health and safety of our members, staff, and community has been our top priority as we consider reopening we want to allow for more time to pass as local restrictions loosen. This will enable us to monitor the impact loosening restrictions will have on our community. Since our reopening is dependent on reaching Phase 4 of the state’s Restore Illinois, we are set to reopen Tuesday, July 7th. That said, all virtual classes will be paused on the week of June 28th in preparation for our reopening the following week! Our plan is to have a hybrid program available to our students. This hybrid program will involve in-studio and virtual classes provided throughout the week. Virtual classes will resume in a similar fashion as they have been currently functioning while in-studio classes will follow a temporary reformed schedule for a period of time. Due to the limited amount of students we can safely accommodate per class we will only allow students into class per reservation. While as a community we will need to remain flexible and anticipate changes, it is our hope that many of you will be able to resume your training at your own comfort. As stated on our voicemail, our telephone services have been disconnected since our closing in March.
